THE PRODUCTS

Assembly Warehouse

Vibia is a renowned global lighting company based in Barcelona. During our visit to their impressive facility, we were amazed by the scale of their operations, which include large-scale factories and warehouses. These spaces are stocked with thousands of ready-made items and millions of parts for their various models, all of which are meticulously assembled on-site by hand. We had the opportunity to tour the entire facility, witnessing their state-of-the-art sorting machine in action—each screw, bulb, and wire is stored according to model type. Additionally, we observed Vibia's skilled team as they handcrafted lighting products and engaged in creative sessions to discuss and prototype new items, rigorously testing them before launch.

THE sightseeing

Park Güell

Visiting Park Güell was an unforgettable experience, as we marveled at Gaudí's vibrant mosaics and whimsical architecture. Strolling through the park's winding pathways, we were captivated by the panoramic views of Barcelona. A fun fact: Park Güell was originally intended to be a luxury housing development, but it eventually transformed into the stunning public park we enjoy today. It was the perfect spot to soak in the city's artistic spirit and natural beauty.

Casa Milà

Our visit to Casa Milà was a highlight, as we explored Gaudí's innovative design and the stunning rooftop with its iconic chimneys. The undulating stone facade and organic shapes left us in awe of his architectural genius. Casa Milà was initially controversial for its unconventional style, but it’s now considered a masterpiece of modernist architecture. Walking through its unique spaces, we felt deeply connected to Barcelona's rich cultural heritage.

Santa Maria del Mar

Our visit to Santa Maria del Mar was a serene experience, as we admired the soaring Gothic architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of this historic church. The grandeur of its stained glass windows and the elegance of its design left a lasting impression. A fun fact: After suffering damage during the Spanish Civil War, the Barcelona football team helped fund the church’s restoration, and in gratitude, a small version of the team’s flag was included in the stained glass windows. This unique connection between the church and the city's beloved team added an extra layer of charm to our visit.

Moco Museum

Exploring the Moco Museum was an inspiring journey through contemporary art, where we encountered thought-provoking works by both established and emerging artists. The vibrant and eclectic exhibits captured our imagination, making it a standout experience in Barcelona. A fun fact: The museum features part of Robbie Williams' art collection—who knew the pop star was also an artist? Each room offered a fresh perspective, leaving us with a deep appreciation for the innovative spirit of today’s art scene.
