KEANE TEAM EXPERIENCE
KIMPTON LOS MONTEROS
MARBELLA, Spain  |  Brand Strategy  •  Branding  • F&B Concepting
Developed in 1962 by Spanish entrepreneur Ignacio Coca, Los Monteros quickly established itself as one of Spain’s first five-star hotels, standing alongside its contemporaries Puente Romano and Marbella Club.
The hotel’s legacy is undeniable — from El Corzo, the first hotel restaurant in Spain to earn a Michelin star, to La Cabane beach club, founded in 1965 as one of the Costa del Sol’s earliest and most iconic beach venues.
Building on this heritage, Kimpton repositioned the property and its F&B offerings to appeal to a new generation of travelers — blending a fresh, approachable concept for local residents, an increasing influx of American tourists, and the hotel’s traditional Northern European clientele seeking authenticity with modern relevance.
Members of our Hospitality executive led creatively the process, achieving a repositioning that has put Los Monteros back on the map.
