ST. REGIS MARDAVALL
Mallorca, Spain   |  Market Analysis  •  F&B Consulting
Son Vida — often called the “Beverly Hills of Mallorca” — first appeared in records in 1518 as a noble estate named after the affluent Vida family. Originally a rugged, forested hill, it evolved into an exclusive enclave, preserving its aristocratic legacy with a 13th-century castle and later adding three championship golf courses — Son Vida (1964), Son Muntaner (1969), and Son Quint — anchoring its elite status.
From noble estate to elite hospitality in the 1960s, the property underwent major luxury upgrades by the mid-2000s. Today, it is Marriott’s flagship in Mallorca, blending castle heritage, cliffside views, world-class spa and golf amenities, and St. Regis’s signature service — attracting affluent leisure, golf, and wellness travelers.
The Michelin-starred Es Fum restaurant remains a draw for both tourists and locals, while a recent F&B repositioning — including a state-of-the-art beach club — has revitalized the pool, lobby bar, and all-day dining with a fresh, distinctive character.
