When W brought its bold, boundary-pushing energy to the Palm Jumeirah, Keane were invited to craft a series of destination-defining F&B concepts that would channel the brand’s unapologetic spirit.

Our design and consulting work began with two standout venues:
Akira Back, marking the acclaimed chef’s Middle East debut, fused culinary theatre with sleek, high-energy interiors – delivering instant gravitas and buzz. Meanwhile, SoBe, a rooftop bar inspired by South Beach’s after-dark glamour, brought colour, rhythm and heat to Dubai’s skyline.

In 2023, we were brought back once again – this time to reimagine the underutilised lobby lounge and bar. Our transformation turned a forgotten corner into Aether, a secret speakeasy that’s now the hotel’s most in-demand reservation. A space that once lacked energy now hums with it – a testament to the magnetic pull of great design, and the power of hospitality to surprise and delight.
