DXB (Dubai International Airport) presented us with an unusual challenge. They wanted an Irish Bar which seemed very straightforward. But we had to avoid all the typical cliches and stereotypes. Looking for inspiration, our research discovered that the concept of Duty Free had been created by Michael O’’Regan in Shannon Airport. Whom better to use as inspiration for a modern Irish Bar in the World’s busiest airport with a celebrated Duty Free offer
