Art Direction
& photography
Exceptional photography not only captures the essence of a brand but also evoked audience reaction, hinting at experiences beyond the frame. Our shoots infuse a touch of irreverence to make each subject truly stand out, all while meticulously considering the final presentation.
IMAGERY THAT SPARKS HUNGER AND EXCITEs THE TASTE BUDS
But what is art direction?
Art Direction is about more than aesthetics; it’s about crafting flawless scenes and memorable visual experiences. By creating cohesive visual narratives, we resonate with consumers through clever compositions, thoughtful styling, and fresh perspectives. We focus on space, texture, harmony, and balance to showcase people or F&B in the best light, from chic and minimalist to warm and cozy. We meticulously curate every detail to align with our clients’ vision.
1. Storytelling with style
We craft captivating scenes through clever composition, thoughtful styling, and fresh perspectives. These elements come together to evoke powerful rational and emotional responses, creating memorable stories.
2. Heroing a Product
We excel at making dishes and drinks the star of the show. Our expertise in framing, lighting, composition, and theatrical presentation draws attention and engages guests, making them eager to experience the product.
3. The Power of Styling
Our artistic techniques bridge the gap between reality and imagination. Using textures and props, we enhance the product’s story, with every element our art directors add contributing to a compelling and positive narrative. We know that artistic license is required at times, but we also know how far to push it.
4. Preparation and Planning
We provide comprehensive services before and after the shoot. From managing props and sourcing models to scouting studios, we meticulously plan every detail for a seamless and stress-free shoot.
5. Post-Production Retouching
Our in-house retouching team ensures every image is flawless. They refine final shots by removing imperfections, adjusting specifications, and perfecting the overall look.
6. Well Connected
With a network of talented photographers, stylists, and studio locations, we are equipped for all types of shoots, ensuring
the right expertise and setting for every project.
Our work in action
We do more than just food and drink photography, although we excel at capturing and styling the perfect plate. Much of our work is lifestyle-focused, highlighting guests’ experiences and the dynamic energy of bar staff.

Tricks of the trade
Never eat or drink anything being shot on a photoshoot. There’s no doubt that the burger is being held together by at least 16 cocktail sticks – to ensure everything stays in its place. The chocolate sauce on an ice cream is not chocolate sauce, butter has been melted onto toast with a paint stripper heat gun. The condensation added to a beer bottle has been spritzed on to evoke a chilled and refreshing look. And the salad bowls are raised high with cardboard layers underneath to add height and volume. That’s just a few tricks of the trade, but there are many more we have under our belt to make sure the food and drink looks amazing on camera.
Meet OUR CORE photography TEAM
We have a team of skilled art directors, a vast collection of Keane props, an in-house retouching team, and our own photographer/videographer, making us fully equipped to handle any creative challenge and budget.
