Jumeirah approached us with a rare opportunity: transform two conference rooms on the 27th floor of the Burj Al Arab into an elevated lounge experience worthy of the hotel’s iconic status. The brief was clear: create a destination that matched the building’s reputation, framed by uninterrupted views across Dubai’s glittering skyline.

Our response was a space defined by warmth, elegance and a restrained touch of gold. Launched as Gold on 27, the former conference rooms were reimagined with plush seating, refined detailing and metallic accents that glow as the sun sets over the marina. The atmosphere invites guests to linger, sophisticated yet relaxed, unmistakably exclusive.

In time, the venue evolved into Gilt, a name reflecting its quiet confidence and refinement. From functional meeting space to coveted lounge, it stands as a testament to how considered design can transform expectation and elevate experience.
