Merry Hill has evolved into a dynamic destination just outside Birmingham. With major retailers, independent food and drink at The Waterfront, and a calendar of year round events, it offers visitors far more than a traditional retail experience. Working closely with the in house marketing team, we helped bring that energy to life through integrated campaigns and event collateral designed to elevate the experience and reflect the centre’s vibrant personality.
Our partnership began with promotional communications and seasonal activity, including supporting Merry Hill’s transition from Intu branding into a confident, independent identity. From there, we developed standout campaigns to engage both new and existing audiences.
Highlights include a high energy Student Shopping Night, targeting thousands of West Midlands students with striking visuals, playful messaging and a full rollout across print, social and live activation. A joyful Back to School campaign paired witty copy with practical, feel good moments for families.
The Spring Summer campaign introduced a flexible seasonal platform, using bold colour, expressive photography and sunset inspired gradients to celebrate long days and lively evenings, reinforcing Merry Hill as a destination in its own right.
