Conrad London St. James

Client: Splendid Hospitality Group & Hilton
Location: London, UK

CHALLENGE
Conrad London St. James wanted to transform its F&B offer into a collection of destination-led experiences that could stand apart within London's competitive hospitality market. Working alongside Sally Abé, the ambition was to create a portfolio of concepts that would strengthen the hotel's identity while attracting both guests and local audiences.

POWER OF HOSPITALITY THINKING™
Inspired by the hotel's connection to Westminster and Britain's suffragette movement, we developed a collection of distinctive venues built around local history, culture and character. At the heart of the strategy sat The Pem, a restaurant inspired by Emily Wilding Davison, whose courage and determination provided a powerful narrative foundation for both the brand and guest experience.

OUTCOME
Conrad London St. James evolved into a hotel defined by its hospitality experiences. While Sally Abé has since moved on, the concept, narrative and ethos continue to shape the guest experience today.

Don't just take our word for it

The Pem is magnificent in the way that only a massive international hotel chain can manage … Pem being the nickname of suffragette martyr Emily Wilding Davison. If you didn’t already know who she was and now do, then the place has already achieved something far more significant than most restaurants could ever aspire to. Financial Times
